Salt and Sweat
"The more salt you eat, the more salt you lose in sweat." -Nancy Clark's Food Guide for Marathoners MY COMMENT: According to most sources, Americans take in an average of 3,000-4,000 mg of sodium per day, or up to 2 pounds a year! I am not too concerned about replacing sodium on long runs.
