Be Kind to Your Dog- Order Musher's Secret Paw Protector Wax!

In the winter, Sumo sometimes has trouble with ice and snow sticking in between his toes- no more! I've ordered Musher's Wax- a must for dogs who run in the winter!

About Dave Elger

Dave became the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's first national champion when he won the N.A.I.A. marathon in 1976. Following his career at UWSP, Dave pursued his interest in distance running by earning a masters degree and participating in research at the famed Ball State U. Human Performance Laboratory under the direction of Dr. David Costill.

His best marathon performance came in 1977, when he placed 3rd in the inaugural Chicago Marathon running 2 hr 25 min.

After turning 40, Dave ran 5 consecutive sub 2 hr 40 min marathons including a 2 hr 34 min at Boston in 1994. Since his 50th birthday, Dave has broken 3 hours on 4 different occasions, including 2 hr 55 min in Seattle and Napa Valley at age 55.

In 2011 Dave joined the exclusive Sub 3 Hour Marathon in 5 Decades Club, running 2 hr 59 min 28 sec at the Seoul Marathon. He currently holds the record for longest span between sub 3 hour marathons 38 years 271 days.

As he has throughout his long career, Dave continues offering valuble tips and training advice to beginners as well as seasoned distance runners.

He currently is the Health Promotion Coordinator at Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek, South Korea.
